Shorts On Tube is a desktop workflow application that helps creators turn long-form videos into short vertical clips, apply captions, layouts, branding, editorial context, and publish or prepare content for social platforms.
Shorts On Tube processes information selected or generated by the user, including:
Most project files and generated media are stored locally on the user's computer. Some account, license, access, and plan information may be stored on our backend services to provide login, licensing, account validation, and security controls.
Shorts On Tube uses YouTube API Services for YouTube-related features. This may include connecting a user's Google/YouTube account, reading basic channel information, checking channel membership or account status when enabled by the user, reading playlists or selected video lists, and uploading videos or metadata requested by the user.
When you use YouTube features in Shorts On Tube, the app may access, collect, store, and use the following YouTube-related API Data, depending on the features you enable:
Shorts On Tube does not ask for, receive, or store your Google or YouTube password. YouTube access is authorized through Google's official OAuth authorization flow.
Use of YouTube features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google may process information according to the Google Privacy Policy.
Shorts On Tube integrates with third-party platforms and services such as YouTube/Google, TikTok, Instagram/Meta, Supabase, hosting providers, payment or plan validation providers, and media asset providers. These third parties may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
The app or website may display, embed, fetch, or publish content through third-party platforms. Where applicable, third-party services may serve content, analytics, platform messages, previews, or advertisements according to their own policies and the user's platform settings.
Shorts On Tube and its website may store or access information on your device, directly or indirectly, including cookies, local storage, session storage, cached files, configuration files, OAuth tokens, license files, device identifiers or hashes, logs, and project data. These technologies are used to keep you signed in, remember settings, validate your license, protect app integrity, enable publishing workflows, and improve reliability.
We use data to operate the app, authenticate users, validate licenses, process videos, generate clips, apply layouts and captions, publish content selected by the user, show project history, prevent unauthorized use, troubleshoot errors, and improve app quality.
We do not sell personal data.
We share data only when needed to provide the service, comply with user instructions, or meet legal and security requirements. For example, when you publish to YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, the app sends the video file and selected metadata to that platform through its API or official workflow.
Data deletion: users can request deletion of stored Shorts On Tube account data, license data, platform connection data, support data, and YouTube API Data associated with their account.
You can disconnect connected platform accounts inside Shorts On Tube when that feature is available. You can also revoke Shorts On Tube's access to your Google/YouTube account at any time from Google's connected apps/security settings page:

After revoking access, Shorts On Tube will no longer be able to perform authorized YouTube API actions unless you reconnect your account.
To request deletion of stored account, license, platform connection, or support data associated with Shorts On Tube, contact us at contato.gti@live.com or use our data deletion page at /data-deletion. Local project files stored on your own computer can be deleted by you directly from your device.
Local project files remain on the user's computer until deleted by the user. Backend account, license, and support records are retained only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the app from unauthorized use.
